YOUNG ADULTS

Despite the lockdown due to Covid-19, our Connect group for young adults still meets regularly on Thursday evenings over Zoom to study the Bible and pray together. The first Thursday evening each month is an opportunity to pray together with the whole church.

YOUNG ADULTS

We want you to grow in your love and knowledge of Jesus; to get to know others who are trying to do the same at a similar age and stage in life as you; for you to learn how to find your place in the wider church family and to grow in confidence to share the good news of Jesus with colleagues and friends. Or, to put it another way, we want to help you CONNECT with Christ, each other, the church and the world.

We meet every Thursday during term time in the main church building for food, at 7:30, and then bible study and prayer. We finish by 9:30. If you want to know more, contact Daniel at daniel [dot] gomes [at] christchurchbanstead.org We’d love for you to join us.

Being a ‘young adult’ is exciting but not always easy. There are so many decisions to make; decisions about what job to do, where you are going to live, how to spend your time, who to go out with and more. Some decisions are taken out of our hands, many we wrestle with, and it often isn’t easy to know what to do and who to listen to.

The aim of CONNECT is that for young adults at ChristChurch (whether Christians or just looking) that Jesus’ voice wouldn’t be one of many, but the voice shapes the whole of their lives.
